Ki Jo Lee

Ki Jo Lee is an artist who recreates the historic white porcelain, constantly exploring it and re-illuminating it within the realm of contemporary arts and crafts.

White porcelain is created by baking a glaze on a form made out of clay. White porcelain was produced in the Joseon Dynasty and it is baked at a higher temperature than celadon; it had a great influence on the ceramics industry in neighboring countries, especially in Japan.

The ceramic dishes with this kind of smoothy texture are thinner and lighter than normal ceramic dishes. You can use it for picnic lunch box.
